Aggregation Report - Morning Edition 3/31/16

Welcome to your morning Aggregation Report.  The date is March 31st and these are a few headlines to start your day:

CNET reports that Elysian Estates is recruiting talent through video games.  The Luxury Escape company wants to find an expert Minecraft builder to craft virtual brickscapes of 10 of their current properties.  If you know a Minecraft enthusiast (and who doesn't these days) send them here.

McDonald's is poised for major expansion in Southeast Asia.  The company, which currently owns 2,800 restaurants in China, Korea and Hong Kong, is set to expand another 1,500 into the region.  We are excited to see how this impacts the Big Mac Index.

Donald Trump has recanted his beyond controversial remarks about punishing women for having abortions.  Leah Libresco at FiveThirtyEight writes about how outside the mainstream Trump's position was.

Spotify has signed a $1 Billion financing deal.  The deal is expected to push Spotify into IPO territory sooner rather than later.

Ben Affleck has written a script for a standalone Batman film.  Now just imagine Affleck exclaiming "Retainer" in his best Batman voice.

Aggregation Report - Evening Edition

Welcome to the Evening Edition of the Aggregation Report.  Thanks for clicking.

After spending most of the year doing it's best Wile E Coyete freefall, the stock market hit it's 2016 high today.  Hopefully the Coyete lets it be.

Microsoft announced that you can now turn any Xbox One into a Dev Kit.  However, before you go testing out your new apps be aware that this also has the potential to remove any currently downloaded content to your console.  As the signs say, proceed with caution.

Speaking of Microsoft, The Verge reports on the Top 10 developments at Microsoft Build.  Click on it because you love lists.  

Another bad sign for the environment as a Penn State researcher predicts rapid melting of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet.

Inflatable housing for Astronauts?  The International Space Station is set to test an inflatable habitat from technology that NASA started to develop in the 1990's.  No word yet as whether or not the Astronauts would be wearing flannel shirts and listening to Pearl Jam while on board.

Fidelity has downgraded a number of tech stocks with Dropbox being one of the bigger names.  Looks like their dropbox is full and no longer syncing.

Google is now offering a Fiber Phone.  Per Google, this is everything you ever wanted in a land line, but were afraid to ask for.  

Jupiter shows it can take a hit.  Telescopes caught an unknown object smashing into the Red Planet and causing a giant explosion.  

Just 8 months after launch, Microsoft says that Windows 10 is running on 270 million devices.  

Donald Trump has decided not to support any GOP nominee that is not him.  NPR explains why The Donald changed his stance.

Finally, Star Wars Rogue Squadron has finally made it onto Steam.  The game was originally released in 1998 and today is the day everyone can make up for 18 years of lost time.
